How to View PDF Documents on Your Android Device

  1. If you have a Kindle app this will provide the usual eBook experience for turning pages and calling up a page list view. The one problem you may find is some or all of the hyperlinks won’t work because Kindle doesn’t have normally have the ability to call up a browser.

2. Nook and Google Books. These apps work very much like Kindle and if available to open CRUISE CONTROL they shoud be in your list of choices for opening the pdf file.

The latest phones and tablets usually come with a built-in PDF reader. So if you can’t open PDF on Android out of the box, check out these apps below:

How To Open PDF on Android - Adobe Reader

3. Use Adobe PDF Reader for Android. Our preferred choice as it will usually give you full use of hyperlinks. This app is from Adobe, the creator of the PDF file format. If you don’t have it you can download it. Adobe Reader is quite popular on Windows PCs, and it is one of the best Android PDF apps available on the Google Play Store.

iPads – Make sure you have the iBooks app installed on your iPad.This is a free app that you can download through iTunes or the App Store. Open iTunes on your computer. iTunes acts as a go-between from your computer to your iPad. Make sure you can see your PDF in your Finder on a Mac or as an icon on the desktop. Drag and drop the PDF into your iTunes Book library. The file will now appear in your iTunes Library. Plug your iPad into your computer and then select it in the Devices menu on iTunes. Click on the Books tab within iTunes (in the bar across the top of the main frame). Check the Sync Books checkbox, if it isn’t already enabled. Now click the Apply button.
