Beach and fortifications at Royal Naval Dockyards

Tens of millions of years ago a volcano erupted on the floor of the North Atlantic in water over a mile deep. Breaking the surface it provided a base for a unique island. Bathed by the warm waters of the Gulf Stream, Bermuda is one of the worlds most northerly tropical islands. Protected by growing coral reefs over the eons Bermuda is actually due east of the American Carolinas.

Bermuda is a remarkable place with beautiful beaches, pastel houses, historic landmarks and an incredibly refined lifestyle. Paradise is nearer than most imagined.


Lightroom Fun in Maui — Cats and Trails and Garden Tales

My two passions are travel and photography and in addition to cameras and cellphones there’s amazing photographic software out there. More and more that’s where much of the creative action is.
