The Intentional Traveler
Please take a minute to read. This is Dennis, the creator of THE INTENTIONAL TRAVELER and I have an important announcement and a favor to ask. I started this site almost fourteen years ago and have amazed myself at how big it has become, but all good things come to an end. I am now in my late seventies and over the past couple of years I’ve had increasing issues with my vision*, to the point that it is very difficult to use a computer any more. In addition, the time I do spend in front of the screen is taking an additional toll on what vision I have left. So I’ve come to realize I need to stop.
It is with serious regret that I am going to suspend my regular posting on THE INTENTIONAL TRAVELER (Intend2travel.info) going forward**. But, I would ask a favor of my regular visitors and subscribers. Anyone who has spent time posting on the internet using social apps, blogs and websites, knows what short memories the search engines have, and what happens to traffic if you don’t engage on the net for a while. Your site visits begin to fall and after a while it vanishes from a lack of visits.
For that reason I’m asking if you would please bookmarkintend2travel.infoand every once in a while visit for a few minutes, maybe even select a link or two just to help keep THE INTENTIONAL TRAVELER alive***.

*Several years ago glaucoma cost me all vision in my right eye and almost two years ago macular adhesion caused my near vision difficulty keeping things in focus. Almost everything within three to five feet was a struggle.
