Getting Around Prague

Prague is a fascinating city with a number of historic districts. The most convenient and cost-effective way to get around Prague is to use public transportation either by metro, tram, and bus. The city has an extensive network of public transportation that covers all the major tourist destinations and neighborhoods.

The metro system consists of three lines (A, B, and C) that cover most of the city and connect to major transportation hubs. Trams are a popular mode of transportation in Prague as they cover a wider area than the metro and offer scenic views of the city. Buses are also available and are mostly useful for reaching locations outside the city center. Additionally, there are also ferries that operate on the Vltava River during the summer months. Overall, Prague’s public transportation system is efficient, affordable, and a great way to explore this beautiful city.
