A Short Story

Those signs are everywhere, but apparently the monkeys can’t read. In a picnic area in South Africa’s Kruger Park the trees are filled with monkeys and if you don’t hold onto your bag lunch they’ll drop down, grab it and be back in the trees before you can blink. Two girls sharing our table had just taken out their two bananas and were rummaging around in the bags when the bananas just disappeared. They’re not just thieves they can also peel a banana in under 5 seconds. Park rangers can appear very menacing when they accuse you of feeding the monkeys, but I think they’re just having fun with us.

The Infamous Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb

Sydney harbor has two of the most iconic structures in Australia, the famous Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. For the adventurous the views of Sydney from the top of the harbour bridge are amazing.

Experience this popular activity that allows Aussies and visitors alike to climb to the top of the iconic bridge and enjoy stunning views of the city and harbor. The climb takes about 3.5 hours and is suitable for people of all fitness levels. Those with a fear of heights should probably pass.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb was first opened to the public in 1998. Since then, over 4 million people have climbed the bridge. The climb is a popular choice for locals and tourists alike, and it is often booked out weeks in advance. source

Capturing the Climb Many visitors choose to capture their climb with photos or videos. The climb offers stunning views of the Sydney Opera House, the city skyline, and the harbour. There are also opportunities to take photos with the iconic bridge itself and night climbs are a whole new level of magical.
